Workshop Kits
Our workshop kits consist of three designs of minature energy generating playground sets. When visiting classrooms, we will bring five of each design for the students to assemble in teams with the provided instructions sheets (Instructions booklets are available in three editions for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4).

The workshop kits are made from 3D printed recycled PLA to allow students to consider challenges of using more sustainable materials and develop problem solving skills of their own.
​
For those with access to a 3D Printer, the kit designs are available on Thingiverse to enable students to take on the challenege of building their own kit from scratch, or improving on the existing design.

Minature Energy Generating Seesaw
The Seesaw design contains 14 3D printed parts. Alongside this, the kit needs five 4mm x 9mm x 4mm ball bearings, a 3-24V 3 Phase AC Micro Hand Brushless Mini Generator, and a LEGO minifigure or alternative toy of similar size.

Minature Energy Generating Swing
The Swing design contains 10 3D printed parts. Alongside this, the kit needs seven 4mm x 9mm x 4mm ball bearings, a 3-24V 3 Phase AC Micro Hand Brushless Mini Generator, and a LEGO minifigure or alternative toy of similar size.

The Carousel design contains 17 3D printed parts. Alongside this, the kit needsneed eight 4mm x 9mm x 4mm ball bearings, a 3-24V 3 Phase AC Micro Hand Brushless Mini Generator, and a LEGO minifigure or alternative toy of similar size.
